Utah Salt Flats Elopements are my new favorite thing.
Especially at sunrise.
Imagine this: you get to your elopement location, and there’s not a single person in sight besides you, your fiance, your officiant, and your photographer. There’s no tourists, busy streets, people chatting, or any sign of civilization for at least a couples miles in either direction. It’s still dark outside, but you see the dim light starting to become brighter on the horizon as the world starts to become awake. As your feet crunch on the salt beneath you, you realize how special this moment is, and how RARE it is.
It is truly rare for me to be in places where there aren’t also a ton of other people trying to take photos when it comes to gorgeous mountain locations. However, sunrise is another story. Amy + Jay got here before the sun rose, and we held their sweet little vows as the sun rose and brought the earth back to life. There were no people around to gawk at this gorgeous couple or intrude on their special moment. Most people don’t even think to watch the sunrise because of how early in the day it happens, but what that ALSO means is that there will no one around but you.
