Crested Butte Summer Alpine Lake Elopement
Crested Butte is one of my all-time favorite locations for eloping couples. There isn’t quite anything like Crested Butte, Colorado. It’s truly one of the most magical places in the world. This late summer elopement got some of the best aspects CB offers: wildflowers, a turquoise blue alpine lake, privacy, camping with no one around, and a stunning night sky with the Milky Way on full display.
E+M decided to elope in Crested Butte because of the wildflowers, as well as amazing access to private areas where they can truly enjoy themselves without others watching.
After getting ready at their AirBNB and sharing a first look, they headed over to their ceremony spot, which was right in the middle of a gorgeous valley surrounded by mountain views and wildflowers. Having mountain views on all side, they had their ceremony with just the two of them, and completed it with a hand-fasting ritual. After a tear-jerking ceremony, we spent time adventuring the valley with incredible wildflowers and a stunning lake. The alpine lake we adventured to was absolutely magical.
After a solid break in the day, we reconvened for a campfire under the stars. S’mores, fire, snuggles, and the Milky Way is definitely the best way to end an elopement day if you ask me!
This elopement was full of gorgeous mountain views, wildflowers galore, gorgeous alpine lakes, and a free-spirited loving atmosphere. It was such a special day!
