Yosemite has been a dream location for me for about a decade. Not even just for an elopement, but just to visit. The staple mountain faces, the epic trails, the waterfalls that seem to literally look like they’re on fire, the wildlife, ALL of it. This trip for me was a bit of a dream come true, because not only did I get to visit one of my top bucket list locations, but I got to create art there as well.
Carissa + Leo were up for the photo session of a lifetime - Glacier Point at sunrise! Glacier Point is one of the most notorious locations in all of Yosemite, because of its breathtaking views over all of Yosemite. Be careful though, as there’s plenty of wildlife around (we saw 2 bears on the drive up here). The hazy morning view we had of Half Dome was something completely out of this world, and photos cannot even begin to do it justice.
As a Colorado Elopement Photographer, I love getting the chance to travel to the world’s weirdest and wildest places to take the most breathtaking of photos, and Yosemite did NOT disappoint!
