Pikes Peak is one of the most notable mountains in all of Colorado. Ever wondered what kind of locations are around Colorado Springs that feature the famous Pikes Peak in the background? Well so did these two!
Audree + Anthony decided to elope in the late summertime at sunset. They rented an A-Frame cabin for the weekend, which was set in the most picturesque location with tons of privacy. After an emotional first look between the family, son, and couple, we were ready to set out for their ceremony location.
We decided on a gorgeous field outside Woodland Park that overlooked Pikes Peak from afar, and had the entire field to ourselves. As the sun began to set, they shared an intimate ceremony, popped champagne, and signed their marriage license. Back at their A-Frame, they built a fire, shared a joint, and had dinner and cake.
One of my favorite things about wedding coulture in Colorado is that 420 friendly weddings and elopements are extremely common. It is NOT frowned upon to smoke a joint; actually, I’d say it’s encouraged. Having a stoner wedding of your dreams is completely celebrated here.
