Irene + Spencer shared one of the seldom rainy days with us in the mountains of the Rockies. In Colorado, there’s typically about 300 days of sunshine a year, but these two happened to get one of those not-so-sunny days. But guess what? That didn’t slow them down in the least bit!
We got to hike around this beautiful trail that honestly reminded me of the PNW. Once the rain let up a bit, we got to explore the nearby road in a Jeep. Jeeps are just about the best way to get around the steep back mountain roads! Renting a Jeep is one of the things I recommend to couples looking to explore by car some neat back mountain roads to explore a bit more! Breckenridge is one of my favorite places to shoot elopements, because you can have a little bit of everything there. Elopement by an alpine lake? You got it. Elopement on a remote trail with close to no one around? You got it. Breweries and bars and food galore? You got it. Breck has everything.
