Winter Engagement Photos at Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado
Emily + Jonah are seriously the CUTEST! Just look at these two! I had an absolute blast with these two at their engagement photos at Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Honestly, Lookout Mountain is one of my FAVORITE places to go for engagement photos. Not only are the views endless and gorgeous over the Rocky Mountains, but it is incredibly easy to get to. With no hike required, this place is a go-to for sure! One thing that made this session extra amazing was Emily’s skirt. Can we just take a second to admire this gorgeous thing?! She looked like a straight up model, and I was basically drooling this whole session! The snow against the red skirt was making my heart explode.
As we walked around the park taking in the views and avoiding the slippery snow parts, I remember thinking how lucky I am that I haven’t slipped and fallen during a session ever before and how I’m usually so graceful in ice and snow. However, less than a minute after thinking that, I slipped right onto my butt on an icy step. But, I saved the camera by holding it above my head as I fell! I felt like a straight up magician after that move.
As we started to end our session, we got to pop some champagne and celebrate these two finally planning to tie that knot. Jonah even pulled his guitar out to serenade Emily at the end of our session in the back of his truck. It was SUCH a sweet moment, and I’m so glad I got to capture for these two. I can’t wait for these two to finally be married in October, and I am beyond blessed I get to be there to capture it all as their Colorado wedding photographer!
